I got a stomach bug after the last batch I cooked. Been over a year.
No rice, no gumbo....nothing!
I have been threatening to make it again however.
Food didnt make me sick, but its funny your body loses the taste for something like that.

Lots of non traditional meals for us at present So busy, at work (down a technician, so I'm filling in) & home. Bought a new house & 80 acres of land, that backs onto 420 public, but land locked, can be accessed only by us & 2 other property owners. Get full possession on the 29th ! Cleaning current house & showing people through. Packing stuff & delivering to the new property. Did I mention it's also hunting season !

Roasted a bunch of Brussels with some jalapeño cheddar sausage and tossed it with orzo, olive oil, butter, garlic, some parsley, thyme, and parmesan.
Was a great meal. Quick and easy.
