I have a tough enough time listening to U.S. citizens gripe about and spout "hate America" talk ( or songs), take a knee, talk about Police ( any Authority) but THEY have the Right via our constitution. I don't give any non-citizen that Right. I have been to several Countries, and I respected their Laws/Customs...under threat of jail/deportation. As a "Free American", I certainly could not "exercise my God Given Freedom" in their country, as a guest. Why should we extend "our" security/Freedoms to "any guest"? One Worlders will cry and kick and sue is "why" we DO. And Bruce Springsteen? Fuggetaboutit! ha

The whole thing is nuts. Makes no sense to allow them the opportunity to turn on us. I understand the shock, but I don't understand the surprise when it happens.

They buy their planes from us, it's probably part of the deal. Deep down, we probably don't want them buying from China or Russia or do we really care?

A 2nd Leut seems pretty low on the totem pole to have access to our training. Don't believe you can rely on the Saudi's judgements of their own.
A year or so ago, another one of them planted his ride into the salt just outside the Boca Chica base near Key West.

Would suspect part of the reason they want to train them here is to get the chance for our intelligence agencies to pitch them away from the eyes of their own watchers at home.

All the more reason to confine them to base while training. From barracks ( their own) to classroom, mess hall, back to barracks and the plane. That's it. Even the Px can send a truck to their barracks, keep them as isolated as you can. Give them phone calls once a week off base controlled phones. Sound harsh? It wasn't "harsh" when I went through Boot Camp for 2 mos with almost same restrictions!

This has been going on for years, since at least the 70's
We train military from lots of countries.
When I was in Navy, we had Iranian sailors training on our destroyers in the late 60's.
Why, because we sold or gave them old ships and we trained them to operate them.
We did not sell or give them parts tho--
