Pretty happy boy today. I waited until after he went bed last night to stash it behind the tree. He spotted it as soon as he walked in this morning.
FYI, I mentioned the detachable box mag has been redesigned on the Savage model 11. They do fit the (3-4 year) older model 11’s. It’s a much better design and his brother will be getting the new style before next rifle season.
