I am partial to Model 70 Classic featherweight in...…..270 win. Topped with Leupold 2.5-8. About as perfect a hunting rifle that I could ever need.

For me it's easy, a pre 64 Model 70 featherweight in .270...and you? Pre 64 model 70 featherweight for me as well. However, i like the 30-06
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Model 70 classic stainless in a 270 Winchester. Reason it’s my favorite it’s the rifle I used for sheep hunting, in a cartridge made popular by the sheep hunter himself. 98% of you will never know that feeling of hunting sheep..
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Cz 550 Standard. Chambering would be either a .308 or a 9.3x62
They only sold them in the US for a year or so before the American came out. Twas the standard model for the rest of the world. Solid steel williams style irons that were screwed and soldered and a winchester model 54 profile stock. I.E More drop at the comb and a very slender forend. Absolutely gorgeous...the last of the old world sporting mausers imho.
I cried when the quite making them...truth

But the guide industry is pretty powerful up here, unfortunately..

First year, 1978 or 79, Remington 700 Classic. Bought it new in 270, it's retired now. Second favorite would be a Model 700 LVSF. Third is a Model 7 Predator.

Mine is the first gen 700 Ti, in 7 SAUM. Likely, one rifle I'll not ever send down the road!
