I bought a Schmidt and Bender German 1.25-4x20 from a friend and the Windage cap has "S/D".
Can anyone tell me what "S/D" stands for?
Thanks, Jason

I read somewhere that it was Stand/Driven....for the type of hunting...
Someone else said Short Dot...but I don't think that applies to this scope...?

The “S” may be short for seitlich (from the side). Not sure on the D. That’s going back further than I care to think to college german class ...

Standing or driven game. Some models with old style 4 reticles had them. Saw most of that stuff say... year 2000 vintage when they first upped the eye relief from 3.15 to 3.75.

Only accurate rifles are interesting.

My friend said he was told that it had increased eye relief.....
Thanks!
