Thank you, This story couldn't get much better. This rifle would be a buy on the spot item. I've got a Flaigs custom in 30-06 that is similar, but at lower level. Lots of love has been put into your rifle.

I dry fire a lot. And I mean a lot. I also dry fire a lot. Having an accurate pellet rifle you can shoot inside is also good. Agreed Out of curiosity do you shoot HP Rifle or some other type of matches. Usually when someone dry fires a lot they shoot in matches. Used to. High Power, 600, 1000, Bullseye, rimfire BR, etc, lots of rimfire tactical Mostly long range center fire http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2009/05/sako-finnfire-for-rimfire-tactical-competition/I still shoot HP Rifle. I used to shoot a lot of .22 and center fire silhouettes. And we were in a postal league for bullseye shooting for a long time. In Kodiak we just have a 500 yard range declared surplus by the Navy for HP Rifle matches but no ranges longer than that. My mom lives in Grand Junction Colorado and there public range has steel plates out to 1,500 yards. I bought a RPR 6.5 Creedmoor and leave it at her house to shoot when I visit her. BTW Are you Mark? Yes I am I really like the looks of your rifle. I am curious on why you would use a bolt action instead of a semi auto? I am not familiar with rimfire tactical but it seems that there would be some rapid fire stages that would be handled better with an accurate semi auto.

One of the most accurate rifles I ever had. I'll dig up a picture I still have my AMT but I have never accurized it. I used it in an Appleseed match last summer and it worked very well. I started the match with a Remington 597 but the extractor fell out of the bolt in the first stage. I have decided to buy a Clark Custom 10-22 for next year.

Mine were not the "knock off ruger action" as posted above,
All stainless action with a press fit barrel and a chamber that engraved the bullet. Only about 500 of these were made.

Diamond Precision Industries custom semi auto rifles built by Sam Paredes and Ron Herbertson from their custom shop in Diamond Springs, California in the mid 90's. Components used were Olympic Arms stainless steel receivers investment cast 17-4PH. Barrels were 6 groove button rifled 17 twist Shilen ultra match barrels with Bentz chambers and a tight .218 bore that have been cryogenically stress relieved at -300 degress in house. The barrels are threaded by way of a .700'' long shank with a 3/4- 20 thread. Receivers also have a tang lug which engages a recess in the stock promoting bedding rigidity and allowing barrel floating. Stocks are McMillan and triggers are an adjustable 6 oz Jewell and a Custom AMT trigger which has a faster lock time than the Shilen. There is no freebore and the bullet is firmly pre - engraved by the rifling upon chambering.
All rifles must meet an in house accuracy standard of .250'' or less with match ammo. The accuracy claim by Diamond Industries is real !!
A little over 500 of these rifle were ever produced. Diamond Industries closed down in 1988 after CA passed it's firearms manufacturers laws.
