I am a titanium man! I leave the carbon fiber for my fishing rods.
you have no carbon anywhere on your pp machine?..bars? seat stem?..not even a CF bottle cage? Ultra-butted 3-2.5 Ti or double-butted 3-2.5 Ti?.. with 6AL-4V bottom bracket maybe?

The O.P is One who vehemently stands with the pita spandex road bicycle fraternity or virus that infects our roads and pedestrian pathways..yet is bitching about the creedmoor crowd ..
the irony.
how many flogs feel the need for a carbon frame/fork bike, cause you know the pro TdF riders all have them...lol.
its riveting stuff when they stop for a coffee on their Sunday ride, and chat about the aero coefficient and critical few grams they saved by also getting a matching wind tunnel tested carbon-fibre water bottle cage.
Laffin'.......and oh so true. PB is the snowflake who got his feelers hurt over something as insignificant as a rifle cartridge. Wonder what he expects when he walks into Cabelas, Sportsman's, etc......Jim Carmichael selling guns behind the counter?
It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

One of the most knowledgeable shooters I know worked at SW after retirement. Mainly to kill time and score some discounts until his wife was closer to retirement. He got tired of working with the general public pretty quickly.

Sigh, it wasn't that long ago when The Beauty Queen on the Campfire was the 7 SHAMU, or the 7 Mashburn, the 162 AMAX in any 7 (remember all those threads about 162 grain AMAXs flattening deer way out there?), the 7 Mauser in a classic M70, or a 300 Weatherby as the King of All...
and of course those great threads about exit wounds large enough to enable us to track the African herd animal (minimum diameter 30)...
now we fret over recoil and extol the virtues of the 6.5 Creed; rumor has it that 6.5 Creed bullets leave an RFID tag in the animal... you just look it up on your iPhone and it leads you right to it... easy peasy no tracking skills required.

I've talked to a few Guides/Outfitters that were almost as bad as an Academy clerk! One "renowned" Mule Deer/Elk hunter back in the 70's (turned out he was poaching the B&C heads) said he used the 150gr CLkt factory load in his Mod 700 ADL 7mm RemMag because you "have to shock an elk". Another one told me that the 7mm Mag was great on mule deer/elk because it "tumbled in flight". YeeGadss! ha Its best to do a lot of research for your own Dern self...I "hate" any article about a hunter with a kill and they never say what the rifle is or what caliber, bullet, etc. But that's just me...:)

PB admits to being a cheap kkhunt, so he probably wouldn't shop anywhere where they pay their employees enough to have brains.

No doubt shop owners know very well the PB vulture types, that only turn up when things are on the very cheap. to see them scrummaging through the clearance bins shoulder to shoulder/head to head , is a pathetic sight. .

Best thing I did was buy a couple 260s before the Creedmore Quagmire started I do however remember stories of 1000 yard one shot moose kills and the like, from the flattest shooting cartridge ever, 7mm Rem mag in the 80s. Guess the bs needs to land somewhere the Creed is up to bat.

Have you been spying on me? I have a brand new bag of Starline 6.5 Creedmoor brass I scooped up at a Gander Outdoors store closing sale. I don't have any use for it anymore. It's yours if you want it.
