I am deciding. Barbary are mule deer sized, which they've worked fine on so far but my confidence in them is at an all time low. I really don't feel like figuring out a new load for that rifle right now, with this sub 0 weather.
I could break the .223 out with 62 TSX, I guess. I have no worries about it breaking bone but one instance of those TSXs not expanding correctly, well within normal TSX approved velocities, has me pausing.
My other rifles are not set up for longer range shots...and with this tag I want 500ish yard capability.
I'm so indecisive!

I’ve seen very unimpressive results with the 210’s outta 300 rum. Zero expansion, antelope, deer and elk
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

I busted mountain goat shoulders and anchored mine right where it stood with the 140 vld. Can't believe a barbary could take one and feel good.

Crazy part is that BOY probably doesn't know what bullets he has and I'd not be surprised to see him get the biggest one... His luck runs that way, except for bison.

What velocity are you running the 140 Inman? Muzzle Velocity is right at 2880 FPS, so impact velocity in this last case was.....2800ish???

Use the 140VLD on the Sheep no doubt. It will definitely get the job done. If you want to switch try the Hybrids next season. They are lethal from my personal experiences.

Can’t help you much on the Bergers. Used a schit ton of them before I started using the Scenars and just never went back. Have seen plenty Aoudad die with Bergers and am sure there were a few handful of 140s in there over time. Punching shoulders was always recommended as their vitals sit further forward in their chest cavity just like any other African animal. Just food for thought..... The only Berger I’ve seen “fail” on Aoudad was .284 168gr out of a 7 Mag at 846. Caliber size hole in, nicked a rib, tumbled and was found under the offside hide fully intact.

I shot the 140 Berger’s. They were accurate,but I like a pass through bullet.
