1996 Toyota Landcruiser Series 80. Considered the pinnacle of Japanese automotive manufacturing. Basically a hand built vehicle. The goal at that time was to build a vehicle that would last 25+ years in a third world country. I have been looking for the right one myself, just to experience the engineering and capabilities and the history.

I drive a 97 Lexus LX450, basically the same vehicle with a Lexus badge. I've had mine for 11 years and it's a tank. I've had to replace peripherals, but the drivetrain is bullet proof. The owner of the shop that has worked on it for me (shop specializes in foreign vehicles) once told me it was one of the most durable vehicles ever produced, easily capable of 500K to 1M miles. He said if I took reasonable care of it, it would be a good vehicle for my grandchildren to drive.

Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.

That looks like it has potential. I'm looking for a clean stock LC.
