I have stumbled around, and sometimes can do it. Does anyone know of a YouTube vid that explains the process?

For members that are trying.

Test run here...stay tuned.

I usually post from my phone. So did a recording of my steps on the phone. I’ll try to embed that in a minute. From a computer would be similar.

I use imgur, but photo hosts are mostly similar.

When you post, the web address has to end in .jpg. If it doesn’t, it won’t work.

1. Start a post on the campfire.
2. Go to your photo host and copy the link of the photo. (Again, it must end in .jpg)
3. Come back to the post in the 24hcf, and you can embed in one of two ways.
A. Use the code somebody posted above with img within brackets
B. Click the little icon with the mountain in the editor functions above. This brings up a pop up that you paste your photo web link in (ending in jpg)

Hit ok. Done.

First run of imgur screen recording below. It may or may not work. If it goes to a different screen that means a button was pressed on the screen.

As I said, I can bumble about, and get some up. I hope my new friend on the 'fire gets some help.

I don't get the complications

I can post a pic with my phone, while sitting at a traffic light in less than 10 seconds, holding a chicken biscuit.

"Squinty eyed 3" screen and all" as the grumpies on here say it.

With i-phone-
1. Take pic of panhandler, it saves to my photos
2. Pop open Postimage,
3. Hit upload image, it navigates you to My photos
4 check the pic of the pandhanding bum, enter
5 it starts uploading via the dialog box
6. Boom, it pops up into the manager window, scroll down and grab the [image] tags for posting to a forum
7 hold down my pinky finger and slide the copy highlighter, select copy
8 flash the screen back to the Campfire, reply to thread and paste the link

Green light go

Next redlight...Take a new pic

I'd have to Imagine it's 10 times easier on a desktop, sittin on your hiney. Only focused on one single task.

If no one can figure this out, then sadly you've been left way behind.

It's not hard to figure out but this is still the only forum out of several I frequent that I have to resize the photo before posting. Other forums have this function built in to their photo posting program.

This is how I do it.

Yup use postimage like MTBoomer.

I can line up multiple pictures in less than a minute to post if you know what your doing and your connection is fast enough.

Thanks good folks, I'm trying to help a friend. It's not so hard once you get the hang of it. Mighty hard to explain however.
