That's good to hear. I miss him. Few here bring color to the place like he did. Deflave is a colored man?? I never knew that, but it would explain why he left.

Well golly gee that’s what I attempted to do before starting this thread. This is the auto-response I received, “ deflave is over their Private Topic limit“. I also sent a PM to another site member asking if he knew anything and he didn’t. If he chooses to back up my claim that would be great, if not I’m fine and dandy with that too. He hasn’t posted since July that I can tell. Does anyone know if something happened to him? Why ? It was something I was mildly curious about. Don’t know the guy but he can be pretty witty and has dinged me once or twice. It’s also fun to imagine sometimes, I can picture deflave stalking Chuck Hawks. Being it says he’s over his private topic limit usually means he was given the boot.

Sad. I always enjoyed reading their posts. One for knowledge and photographs of guns I can't afford and places I'll likely never get to see, and the other for sheer entertainment. I'd be willing to bet both are stand up guys, and a hoot to get to know in life.

Got to know deflave personally over a couple of years. Had a great time with him, understood his sense of humor, and appreciated the knowledge he had of both firearms and how to use them.
