I’m an owner operator and many of the new drivers are just steering wheel holders. Many don’t look at their mirrors for hours much less every five to eight seconds as I was taught. Tire goes flat or brakes dragging and they never see it before it’s on fire. Then there’s the garbage Chinese parts. Then there’s a lot more trucks on the road. It all adds up to more burned out trailers.
