I’ve had this scope for awhile and finally mounted it up.
During boresighting (I quit using a tool long ago) I kept thinking this is moving the wrong way.. Week later I get to the range and it’s shooting an inch right so I grab my readers so I could read the fine print. Of course it’s on the bottom of the turret. I crank a few clicks to “Left” and pop off two more and they land right next to each other but another inch right...
WTH...I look at the turret again and crank twice as much “left”
And send two more down range. Crap. They land clean over on the next target. I finally ignore the indications and crank back about where I started plus a little and bingo...

Thoughts? Maybe the Germans mean if it’s shooting right turn right???😜😜😜😜
I don’t drink or do drugs so......I know tomorrow I am dragging out the boresighter and check it.....

Dam that's crazy.
I bought a pair of binoculars from Doug this last year Leica range finder I was worried the glass would not be as good as my Ziess Doug assured me the glass in the Leica would not disappoint me wow was he right.
I love my bino's they are so clear I been dreaming of getting one of there scopes how do you like it besides the one issue?

Leica is telling you what direction the reticle/erector tube is going to move rather than what direction the POI will move.

The vast majority of riflescopes will have the windage knob designed so that CCW will move the POI to the right and also up. There are some German scopes that reverse that and even those can be had with the knobs set to go the more standard way. I can't find any pictures of the windage knob on that exact Leica model.

I forgot I left the rifle with this scope at my dads (over flow)....
So I’ll grab it tonight but here are Leica’s instructions which align with FTR’s post.

If the impact point is to the right 1.5 inches, correction to the left is required, turn knurled wheel
6.b counter clockwise 6 clicks

Yep, sure looks like one of them German reverse design. Those are truly awful if you dial a lot and you have more than one scope.

Especially if you're into oldgeezerhood.

However, these knobs look like they are covered so that's a good thing; hide the design flaw.

It is backwards. At least compared to the 50 other scopes I have or do own......

I own several Leica bins and the glass in the scopes are just as good....I have two. This one and a 3-12 Visus. Awesome!
