The "go to" for 7x57 in my rifles. Worked well in .257 R and the '06 ....but what doesn't?
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

H414 is great in the 22-250. It actually works well in the 223 with heavy bullets. 85gr in the 243, 150gr in the 30-06 etc.

I use it exclusively in my 22-250 AI, 55 Blitzkings really fast. It works well in a 243 Ai and 6MM AI as well.

Fremont: One of my many Rifles in caliber 220 Swift just LOVES H414! I think it is one of the few Rifles/calibers I use it in. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

Excellent .22-250 and .220 Swift powder. I heard it was quite temperature sensitive but don't know about that.

I'm wondering if H 414 has been unceremoniously been discontinued.... locally I don't see it on the shelves after it was being sold for cheap...
but suddenly, they all seem to be carrying W 760 all the time...

I've used H414 and WW760 in several rifles, mainly the 9.3x62 and .375 H&H and, of course, the 30-06/.308Win. I've played with it in about everything I would use 4350 in.

I use it for my 7x57 with 139-140 grain bullets mostly Partitions.
Found what it likes and have not wanted to look any farther.

Loading up some 308 Win with 175 MK's now. I'll just use 47.5 Grs at std COAL - not looking for most speed. Just looking for gong killers for the 5R. LOL.

If that load doesn’t work for you, try 45.0 gr. of Varget, with standard primers. Very temperature insensitive.
