Honestly, I think Trump based on the lessons we have learned in nation building, is not going to turn this into a circus. But we will see. It will be some "this will piss you off and ruin your day" strikes and then everything will calm down and everyone will pretend nothing happened. Either Iran gets regime change or they get ICBMs and fly them this way, to pave the way for Allahs return. We supported the Shaw remember? Which is big reason Iran hates us now.

We don't have to beat their military - just hit the oil. Bomb every refinery, storage tank and pipeline. The country will shrivel without oil income, the people will rebel and the entire nation will revert to tribes warring with each other. consumer gas prices might rise a bit

Our response isn't going to be tit for tat. It's going to be a crippling strike against their military and their oil infrastructure with the goal of crippling the government, potentially allowing for a new government to take its place. We won't be arming anyone, we'll just be more or less making the Iranian regime impotent.
Trump was allegedly going to address the nation right now. That got called off 30 mins ago. I am betting that the strikes are ongoing. Trump won't address the nation until all our warheads have gone off.

Puzzles me that the missile attack is being viewed as an attack on our troops. What went down last week at the embassy was an attack on sovereign land of the US, and the staff therein. In and of itself it was an act of war.

Iran just lobbed some missles at the US bases trying to look tough to their radical base and Im sure they were PRAYING they didnt actually kill any US troops. BIG gamble on their part to look tough!
