I suspect it's going to become more and more common.

Luck probably turned a lot of light bulbs on for people. Yep. With the money in the NFL these days (salary cap is going to what, $200 million for a 53 man roster?), a first round draft pick just has to make it to their first time in free agency to cash in. After 6-8 years they should have over $20 million in the bank after taxes, easy. 30 years old with 30 mil in the bank? Sign me up....
