About 3-4 years ago, I had the Leupold custom shop build me a 2.5-8 VX3i with heavy duplex. I am not happy that first they greatly raised the cost, then discontinued doing that.

Trying to find a bushnell low powered scope with the Firefly reticle , perused the webernet - not much choice in heavy reticles .
Who offers them now days ? Not really interested in a Lee-up-old .. look up "bobbytomek" . he is the low light guru around here. one heck of a nice guy too.

You might take a look at the Burris 4X 1.5-6 . It's 30mm, illuminated dot with pretty heavy crosshairs and good glass.
I put one on a Ruger American 22-250 1-8 twist for low light coyotes across the pasture or whitetail in the trees. WOW! I didn't know deer could climb trees?
