OK, soliciting opinions from the many experienced hunters here. I'd love to hear what your battery of glass would be for the following classifications of glass. Feel free to answer as few, or as many different categories as you like. Looking forward to everyone's opinion.
Binoculars: Bino/RF unit 15x 12x 10x 8x
Spotting Scope full size compact
Here’s what I actually use: Swarovski 8.5x42 EL for all my hunting, including varmints. The resolution and contrast is so good on Alpha glass that if it’s in front of me, I can see it. I also have a Zeiss 10x20 that I mostly use at the pistol range, never in the field as yet. I have a Leica 900 RF bought in 2001! So old. But it works! I use two spotting scopes. Both are Leicas. One is angled 77mm with a 32x “wide angle” eyepiece. The other is a straight spotter 62mm with a 20-60 variable eyepiece. I much prefer the angled scope. BTW the eyepieces are interchangeable if I like.

Wow - I’m really slumming it in the glass department compared to most but I’m actually really happy with what I have and have sold off more high-end glass because I didn’t see appreciable gains.
All the following are Pentax DCF SP: 12.5x50 8x43 (2 of these) 8x32 (favorite) Also have Pentax DCF ED 10x43
Spotter - Meopta S1
Rangefinder - cheap Nikon that is only good to 400-500.

Rangefinding binoculars.
😁 I got it, I was just wondering what Northcountry thought the Radio Frequency binocs were for? Incoming aircraft perhaps?
