New 25-06 to me. Setting up as a backup deer rifle. I was making a midway order so I grabbed a couple hundred of these 2nds for $20 per hundred. Can anyone tell me what bullet these are 2nds of? Thanks. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1010421834

You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

They get shot out of a 25-06 and a 257 AI all the time.
They are good deer bullets.

I have killed a couple bull elk using the 7mm version 162 gr loaded to 3200 fps MV. They worked well. Hit very hard and penetrated deep, though I do not see any exit holes. But neither bull ran away after being hit.
The 30 cal 190 btsp was one of my favorites in the 30-06. But it is discontinued.
I have loaded and shot the 117 gr in a couple different 25-06 rifles since 1982. They were always accurate and easy to load. But I never killed anything bigger than ground squirrels and rock chucks with them.
