Just WTF is so interesting? Is driving in 'traffic' really so boring that you need to literally STARE at the phone...while driving?!

From what I've observed it is mostly 20-40 year old white(women) although there's quite a few dudes guilty as well.
Indians don't seem to be as enthralled as the ADD honkies.
I can see work related stuff but I KNOW 99% of these bitches are doing it for 'fun'.

We ought to put a hotshot device on phones.. It knows when you are driving and if you open your phone, it'll shock your hand til you drop it!

Jim, no one has hit me yet but there have been a couple close ones. One was high speed on a gravel road and scared the chit outta me. I ALMOST had to take the ditch pulling a stock trailer. Idiot(dude) was fiddle dickin' his phone and drifted right at me. His eyes were like saucers when he finally glanced up.
The other day I about had to bump a car at a stop sign, stupid fuuck didn't know I was waiting behind him. He saw me in the rear view and then really zipped off.

It's not just women. I often see, and almost collide with, guys in work trucks in the early a.m. hours, heading out to their first job, looking at their phone or GPS, and no lights on. Like as not it's a dark colored truck hauling a trailer.

Indeed. I was driving in the center lane of a congested in-town interstate connector. I look to my right and there is a middle aged woman in a Navigator just transfixed on her phone. She slammed into a car stopped at the end of merging traffic. Never even saw it coming and no chance to hit the brakes. I couldn't stop, someone would have run into me. I hope she was OK and the driver she hit was not injured severely. This happens every day on that stretch of road.
