If said scope is going to get a load of shot from a shotgun, there's going to be a person holding a rifle with said scope attached. So for it to be truly a test, have someone hold a NF scope rifle while taking a load of whatever shot size you want at 7 yards. YMMV

The NXS is tough, clear & repeatable. I've had a 5.5-22 so I think I can judge.. The tariff for the above is cost, weight & length above about 85% of anything available.
