Well I just bought a factory butt stock, trigger guard and parts to fix my safety on ebay for my 20-gauge 420 shotgun and paid a total of $61.45 for the entire haul. And it was all from the same seller so that will help with shipping. And now I'm waffling on a Remington Rolling Block....

Had to go to my Son's house in Eugene, that he's trying to sell, and check to see if it was ok. Mission accomplished. You guys seem to of had more fun than I did. Loggah will be busy for a long time, might not hear from him for a while. Fireball2 swung and missed at a hanging curve ball.

So ends another day of winter doldrums here in the east. You guys in the sunny midwest and balmy west coast and the hotcha-cha southwest still have some time left in the day to get up to some mischief.

Me and Roy made a deal for his 59F 243. Im excited about getting it. Also bidding on something on GB. Will know in a couple hours on that one.
Joe Is that the one that looks like brand new. If so, I was thinking about asking him to bring it to Noxen last year. But, knowing me, I'd beat it up getting it out of the safe. It would be happier at your house.
I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

I did score a sweet Martini Model 12 this morning. Nicest one I ever did see- and I've seen a bunch of them. Price was a lot less than typical GB prices, plus it has the Parker-Hale #7 sight, with diopter. The newest addition to my sight collection is 'supposed to be for a Martini' of some sort. It's a Galilean sight set (tubeless scope in the USA), it's about 2½ power, the front clamps on the muzzle (.750 dia.) and the rear lens fits a Parker-Hale sight, it will also fit Lyman's. It's missing at least one of the front lens assemblies, missing two if there was supposed to be one kept in the holder. I had never seen one of these sets before. I'm still looking for a Brayton Tubeless Scope for a Savage...

My press is in our unheated, detached garage. So I loaded up some 300 Savage and 375 Win with a Lyman 310 tool. Interesting note: I had called Lyman and asked if the 310 38-55 dies would work for 375 Win ... they thought about it, and said should work fine, so I picked up a set of 38-55 dies. The 310 tool does not full-length size, just sizes the neck. The 38-55 neck is just tad narrower than the 375 Win. Neck sized, and then expanded the neck just enough to set the bullet in the mouth and then seated with the seating die. Worked just fine. Now, if it will just warm up enough to shovel out the bench and shoot ... -15F this morning. I plan on star-gazing tonight to try to see the train of 60 satellites fly by that Elon Musk's Starlink program launched on 1/6. Another launch is planned for later today that will put up other 60. If all goes well, we might be able to watch Netflix and Hulu by this fall (we have satellite internet now, but limited to 50GB a month). Oh, last night I was going to grill a steak, but opted for cold cuts.

Very cool! Bring it to the Fest and I'll bring the Martini and we'll hook it up!

Started hanging a piece of peg board in my little work area to clean up some of the mess. It's going on the outside vault wall. Darn concrete screws kept breaking so I didn't get far.

Until we get the second floor drywall hung ( where my indoor workshop/gunroom is going to be ) I've been using a Lee reloading stand in the living room. Not too expensive, doesn't take up much room and is easy to move out of the way. Had to make a plate for my RCII press but I've really grown to like the stand.

Well i thought about cleaning up my work area today ,but i went and savagely attacked the snowstorm instead!!! anyone else have a mess like this in their work area?? It gathers stuff all summer, but ive usually got it cleaned up by now !! theres a bunch of stevens single shots and some newer savages leaning against the bench. I thought I had been invaded when I saw your pictures, then I saw there was space to walk! Winter is always the "time to clean up the gun room" every winter. Then summer arrives and it gets put off for winter! I was scrounging around in my drawers and found enough parts to put together 2 ar pistols this weekend.
