I'm open to suggestions for as inexpensive as possible for a 375 H&H Rem. 721. I don't have much money in the gun and don't have a lot of extra money for the scope, just looking for one that would hold up. Thanks!

How about a Weaver k2.5 K-3 or K4. They are relatively inexpensive if you cannot affort something like a used Leupold m8-4x. They all have long eyerelief and a reputation for holding up under recoil. I used both a K4 and a Leupold on my Ruger #1 in 375 and never had any trouble. Look through some old magazines etc and you will see a lot of the heavy hitters topped by Weaver's.

I've got a Leupold VX-II 2-7x33mm matte duplex on my Winchester M70 Classic Stainless .375 H&H. There is a heavy duplex model as well. Works fine, costs $250 plus shipping.

I have some extra Leupold scopes...I'll let you have a 3X or 4x for $200 plus postage..otherwise I would check gunlist and get a 2.5X or 3X Weaver... Be sure it has a centered reticale....

404,
Can you get a picture of that scope you mentioned? My 375 H&H is in need of a scope, and if the original poster ain't interested in it, let me know!

Go with 404 offer on the 200 dollar offer 3X Leupold. Mount it on Weaver bases/rings and be happy. No other combination on this thread even comes close, unless the 4X Leupold has a post or a heavy cross hair.

I went with WCB's advise and got a Weaver K 2.5 for my 375 H&H. Should be here any day now.

WCB,
I got that Weaver K 2.5 scope and put it on my 375 H&H today. Once the winds die down around my place, I'll go out and sight the gun in. I hope the scope can take the punishment!
