Zwickey heads have always worked for me and penetrate like no other. I shoot 125 grain Eskimos on 11/32" cedar shafts out of my 52# Palmer take down recurve. Blew completely through my 500 lb. black bear that scored 20 2/16". He's now a standing, life size mount in the living room and couldn't be prouder of him. When I want to cut a BIG hole on elk, I shoot Wensel Woodsman 3 blade heads. Those beasts are wicked.

Now to reality A lot of other broad heads can and will out penetrate Zwickey's in the proper same set up.

I took another doe as part of this suburban deer culling program and my evaluation of this Palmer extreme 160 broadhead. This is the 2nd deer taken with the new Palmer Extreme 160 (1 1/2" wide 160 grain, 4 blade) broadhead. I resharpened it after taking a deer last week. I hit her right above the heart and she didnt make it 40 yards. I only hit 1 rib on the exit side of this deer and the head went into the frozen ground and is still sharp. I will re-hone and use it for a 3rd deer. The hole this thing blows in them is impressive. You can see the entrance and exit holes. This is my 15th archery deer since Jan. of last year. In a few days, the sharpshooters will begin in the municipality and they plan to take out an additional 50 deer. They will shoot deer at night with lights, using suppressed firearms. None of the deer Ive taken have tested positive for CWD. Now that bowhunting is ending in WI, I will head to other states to kill other critters to further test these heads before heading to Africa with them. I noticed some of the usual pouters in this thread. I feel sad for you.Try taking up bowhunting. You will be better off for doing so. You wont be so angry and jealous and upset
