With time running out (and little-to-no options), if you have an idea of where he might be bedding on the neighboring land, I'd get somewhere on your place to watch your downwind side and create WWIII - rattling, commotion, smashing brush etc. This isn't a tickle-the-horns sort of affair – when you think you've made as much noise as you can, try harder. laugh

As tough to kill as any horned critter I know. With old whitetail bucks, you van know where they live and still not find them😉

living in central MS i can say this and the op will appreciate it.Dude, thats one heck of a deer for south MS!!! both of em. i'm with the other fellas in thats 2 different deer imho. the last one looks more mature whereas the first one looks around 3.5-4.5 yrs old.

Had one like that around here at one time. It was back in the day before trail cameras, and the only sign was the tracks he regularly left, and the trees he rubbed on. I hunted the area hard for a few years, and never caught a glimpse of the buck. As far as I know, he died of old age. I did know where he was using as a bedding area, but that farm was off limits...........and the deer knew it.
