https://www.vox.com/2019/10/4/20874618/roe-wade-supreme-court-louisiana-abortion-gee...The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments this spring in June Medical Services v. Gee, a case that could well be the vehicle the Court’s conservatives use to gut the right to an abortion. At the heart of the case is a 2014 Louisiana law requiring abortion providers to have admitting privileges at a local hospital. Abortion rights advocates say such laws serve no medical purpose and are merely an effort to shut down clinics — and in the landmark 2016 case Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt, the Supreme Court struck down a similar law in Texas....

The 10th Amendment clearly dictates where the right to abortion lies.
Any state which chooses to ban abortions has the constitutional right to do so.

When Roe vs Wade was decided, were six of the nine justices on the court Republican-appointed...? For the last forty-something years, have Republican-appointed justices outnumbered Democrat-appointed justices...? Why is Roe vs Wade still standing...?
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

I think it’s a big mistake to end abortion through the courts, you have to win the hearts and minds of the people, and I believe we are in the process of doing so. Look at how public support for abortion has been dwindling. To shut all the clinic doors by court order, is to invite rebellion, not the changing of minds on the issue. Changing of opinion is long term, political change, short term. Let the people choose to outlaw abortion.

It doesn't need to be overturned in order to be rendered ineffectual.

One of the States simply needs to pass a law outlawing abortion totally and let the courts decide on the merits of the 10th amendment. However, with Roberts leaning left...

It doesn't need to be overturned in order to be rendered ineffectual. What would be the purpose of that?

France's suicide rate increased after they passed tougher gun laws.
I dont think an outright ban would be supported.

Would you make this argument in Germany during the mass murder of Jews?

The original Roe V Wade was based upon a lie and should not have stood.
The chief justice Blackmun was prejudiced and he should have recused himself.

So, if a provider has no admitting privileges, he cant perform an abortion?
What would stop hospitals from providing those services in a clinic setting?
