One shouldn't "have to", but one will always need to.
Even said "outright" there is no "unequivocally".
The 2A is pretty succinct in it's wording, as in what part of "Shall not be infringed" is unclear..................yet it's been argued for a few hundred years now.
For heaven's sake, we had a duly elected President trying to debate the meaning of the word "is".

If you are not willing to fix it with YOUR time and YOUR money, then it's not really important to you. The 10th Amendment clearly dictates where the right to abortion lies.
Any state which chooses to ban abortions has the constitutional right to do so. Much like any state that wishes to enslave other human beings (as if they were cattle) has the right to do so?

I though "Militia" and "People" are the so-called gray areas. Not to me, but then I think the right to self-defense and the obligation to defend one's country are pretty basic principles, so it follows the means to do those things should be available without question as well. Between you and me and the cat, it's possible the Founders were actually talking about organized Militia, but I'll only yield that point on condition that natural law provides for the other reasons to be armed and that they looked at it that way as well, so it wasn't necessary for them to spell it out.
