Yep Ol Mr. Bin banned ol Deflave. Whats funny all the chit he has posted over the years never got him into trouble. It was the jokes he lobbed at Mr. Bin Saturday that got him the boot. I talked with Deflave yesterday he was surprised by it. When I run into ol Rick in the Alphabets this year I iwll ask him why he banned one our most beloved Posters. Then again looks like Ol Rick is trying to draw a tag in unit 7 and have Sitka Deer boy run him up the river to get him a moose.
It was a cry for help. Flave couldn’t stop himself. RB almost had to pull his plug. Social media pioneers, like Bin, have an obligation to recognize and to better understand Social Media Addiction. Rick’s been really active in this area, leading the industry toward developing tools for identifying Social Media Addiction (SMA). Beginning in FY 2023, Bin has pledged 30% of all future profits toward stemming SMA and developing treatment protocols. One might wonder why many other 50 post a day posters don’t get a similar treatment. In most cases, those posters have Jesus. Jesus is widely understood to mitigate SMA. It’s also thought that polarized perspectives like xenophobia, or hatred of blacks, or homosexuals, or Jews, etc. are accompanied by much lower rates of SMA. Curiously, the strong dislike of Texans and bigots doesn’t carry these same effects. These last couple weeks have been hard to watch. While DeFlave’s posts appear entertaining on the surface—and I whole heartedly believe they’re meant to be entertaining, they come at a great personal price. DeFlave is clearly suffering deeply. I wish him a speedy recovery and welcome him back cured or otherwise.
