I try to sync my oil changes and tire rotations at 6,000 mile increments, but I try very hard not to go beyond 6,500 miles.

Discount Tire is a little more expensive than some, but their customer service is the best that I've seen.

My routine maintenance mostly consists of rotate/balance at Discount Tire and oil changes at Wal-Mart.

Every six thousand or so. I buy all my tires at Wallymart because there are stores everywhere you go and they do them with no charge no matter at which store you bought them. Just had them done on my truck this very morning.

I know there are plenty of other tire dealers who do the same thing, but you just cant depend on there being one of those stores in every little burg across the nation.

Never on my cars. The front and the back are two different sizes and the tires are directional.

I always did them at 10K
Toyota says every 5K
5K is good as long as it is warranty, then 10K

Every 5000 to 7500 Miles . It's free where I bought the Tires . One of the best Tools I ever bought was a Tire Tread Depth Gauge . I measure across all Tires ( record every Depth across each Tire ) every few Thousand Miles to check Alignment and wear - differential ( Front to Rear ) . Never bought a new Car with proper Alignment . Last time I put " Full Aignment Front & Rear on the Purchase Contract " . First Car where Tires wore properly .

The Discount Tire program is awesome, and its nationwide. I had some tires installed at my usual DT here in GA, and had to rotate them while temporarily in Wichita KS. No muss no fuss!

The wallyworld program works too, and have used them even recently (just sold the last car that wore their tires). I like the Discount Tire program better because the techs seem a lot more professional/better trained, and they take care of me faster especially using their appointment app..

May and November, when I put on/take off the studded tires.

My last set of tires have about 30-35k miles on them and last week when I went to change out the rear brake pads I figured it wouldn't hurt to rotate them.

For whatever reason(probably because I change my own oil?) I've never really given a chit about rotating tires.

That said the fronts were starting to wear a little funky.

Every 3 years on my commuter car. I replace the rear tires and put those on the front. I miss out on the 4 tire sale deals but it's worth to me to not rotate.

On my good car I replace them every 10K.

Replace or rotate?
