We had a rough night last night; we had several REALLY close lightning strikes that just about knocked us out of bed; makes it hard to go back to sleep. There was a tornado a few miles south of us and I woke up one time around midnight to continuous thunder and lightning which I’ve heard is an indicator for a tornado.

We’ve got some major league storms rolling through the Carolinas. Lots of flooding, lightning, and tornados about. I’ve never seen this much water running down the ditch above the house. Batten down the hatches and stay safe. Just south of Statesville here. First time in over 50 years that the creek below my folks place has been over the road.
