I think the guy is going senile. Got no problem with anyone praying about anything, but I've heard more than a few self-serving justifications with the words "I prayed about it". Does the guy have any idea how idiotic he appears? Guess not. How about all the other folk who prayed and got a different answer? The guy is a complete azz-hat.

He said that to try to get the Mormons back home to let him slide. If God told him to vote to convict, how can they boot him out next election? That is gonna be his argument for another term.
It was a very cold, calculated explanation designed to keep him in good graces with Utah voters. God and prayer had absolutely nothing to do with it.

People's prayers have to be in line with the Word of God, otherwise they will not be answered. Trump is the most Christian policy president than anyone that I can remember. Only president who attended the Pro-Life rally.

Real or imagined.
Some claim the calm from such action to be an answer. Others claim the results are the answer.
Unless they hear God......how do they know?

Not a Mormon, but don't shoot the messenger. Im sure they feel the same way about you only one Romney has to worry about is his Bishop and Stake President when he sits down for a temple recommend. If he doesn't have a current one now, he is no more Mormon than anyone else.
