They were our spring/summer passion during high school years in Virginia. A fairly serious challenge for kids solely equipped 22-LR's. Took a head or CNS shot to down them on the spot. Seemed like they kept extremely regular hours until one missed a couple shots and then they'd change the timing of their doings. An easy game for adults with varmint rigs though.

Out west now and it's fields full of Belding's Ground Squirrels that cost me a ton more ammo.
