never states what action it has
tikka A-7 85
??? To me it appears to be an updated/modified/revised A7 action. I had an A7 and wasn't a fan but for some reason this rifle looks more appealing. Looks like they may have fixed a few of the A7 flaws, especially with the mags. The A7 mags were garbage, wouldn't hold rounds, they would pop out in your pocket and if you dropped it forget it, all come shooting out. The integral picatinny mounts are a nice touch I think too. If this is an newer A7 then it is likely a one size fits all action again.

Interesting.
The stock design makes it a take-down rifle but sidesteps the problems associated with other takedown designs and is probably lighter than the type of hinge arrangements needed for a durable folding stock.
Being the contrarian that I am, I wonder whether you can use the precision rifle butt stock with the hunter fore end.

If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.
