Trouble selling used means trouble selling new. Low demand pretty obvious and common sense They are not as popular as in times past. However, why does that mean those who like them shouldn’t talk about them? Common sense and logic doesn’t seem to be one of your stronger attributes. However, you do seem to be good at clickbait. Some make good money at it. You?

He reminds me of a fella that would knock the hell out of a cue ball with a stick and watch the balls bounce around instead of making love with the cue stick.

I’ve never seen the allure of a fixed scope.
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

The Leupold M8 4xs and 6xs usually don't last long. I usually just give those away. Sold an old vari-X IIC 3-9x40 on ebay last week for $325.00... I need to get on your give away list

You give up some things with the KISS principle, but it also has some advantages. You’re obviously limited to a single magnification setting, but it also has fewer adjustments to worry about when stress is high, fewer lenses to attenuate light transmission, fewer moving parts to rattle loose and fail.
A fixed power scope is more like a truck without all the electronic bells and whistles. Maybe not as luxurious, but it doesn’t have as many parts and gizmos to fail, either, making it more reliable and easier to maintain.
