Influenza here. Wife says this is the sickest I've ever been.
If you're so sick she has to tell you about it, it must be bad. It's been bad. Fever, terrible cough, congestion, runny nose, head pounding, no appetite..... Now she's got it. The incubation period for her is right around 10 days it appears, and now my son is getting it too. So the incubation period has been overly long, it seems.

Had type A flu and survived it, with lingering chest congestion and post nasal drip. Was it real bad? Any delirium, out of body feelings, lost pounds from sweating, chills and fevers? No. But I didn't enjoy it. Just now thinking I may have walking pneumonia.

Closer to me than Roy. She's in a hospital that's walking distance from my office and teaches elementary students in Lake Oswego. It's unknown how she caught it and hasn't traveled recently.
