Anyone shooting the 6mm C barnes LRX load? 95 gr I believe. I've had good accuracy with the 6.5 C version, but havent killed anything with it yet. Killed plenty with the "old fashioned" TTSX though. Always been happy with performance of those

Not the LRX, but I'm pretty sure the 95gr TTSX ain't "fur friendly", if that's any help. Handloads, not factory.

I shot some Factory Hornady 108 eld m in my 6mm CM today and don't think I could beat that accuracy with handloads. Less than 1/2" 3 shot groups, no need to handload. I'm very surprised with this fieldcraft.

Barrett told me that's the load the load they test their rifles with so I just duplicated ....40 grs RL16

If I shoot wolves or coyotes frontal chest, I get no exit......no fur damage.

Got plenty of RL-16, dies, and bullets so I"ll give it a try...but I must be looney trying to beat that accuracy.

I just rebarreled a pre 64 M70 with a 1:8 .243, I'm shooting the 95g LRX and the rifle seems to like 43 g of IMR 4350., thought about the CM but already had a bunch of supplies for reloading the .243.

I agree! Bought the first rifle and a box 0f Hornady 108 ELDM and went to the range. First 3 shots were touching so I just adjusted zero
and went hunting. I had already ordered Alpha brass so I duplicated load and seating depth. Picked up 2nd Fieldcraft threaded for supressor
and did same. Buddy bought one and buys factory ammo with great success.

Damn, now that’s a great idea. How’d you set that rifle up Handwerk?
