I don't eat at either joint unless I have to. Popeyes' around here are significantly cleaner regardless of taste. If I'm eating fast food chicken I'd rather have Long John Silver's. #6 please. Sub out the slaw for mo hushpuppies and fries for the other side. Add 3 Shrimp and a Crab Cake.

Depends on the day. KFC "original" is tasty! Pop-eyes spicey is wonderful!

Never been to Popeye's, don't mind KFC, don't have any regional places that nobody else would know or care about, broasted is best.

I like both.

At KFC, it's hard to beat their $20 "meal deal" of 8 pieces of chicken, family-sized mashed potatoes & gravy, plus cole slaw and biscuits- which I take to go to eat at home with our own drinks.

Now if I go to Popeye's, it's almost always by myself since we don't have one locally, I'll usually get their chicken strips with either Mardi Gras Mustard or the Sweet Heat sauce.. although they do have some really good popcorn shrimp too. And although I rarely have a side dish, they make some pretty good green beans too.

Probably, the one in Alamo, Nv. is in a grocery store, in Salmon.Id. it is w/ a local pizza joint. they are all consistently good, so far.

I like Church's the best but the closest is 400 mi away. Tried a Church's in Denver it was the worst chicken I ever ate.

Here in CS I prefer Popeye's over KFC.

Raising Cane's opened a few months back and their chicken fingers are the best, very tender, but that is all they sell, no bone in chicken. Batter could easily be a little spicy, bit bland for my taste.

If that's the only choices, then is KFC. But Cane's beats them all.

Bush's is the best. Only wish they had biscuits instead of rolls but minor complaint.

I'm not impressed with Cain's either. Boneless BBQ wings at Walmart's is all right as long as the help don't have AIDS or whatnot.

I prefer Popeye's over KFC, but if there was a Churches around here I'd try that.

I won't eat at Cracker Barrel. Food is way to greasy.

I was surprised the other day, was at Red Robin and order cluck and fries (or what ever the name was) and
their chicken strips is really good. It's more like southern fried chicken, and their honey mustard is good.

MD authentic fried chicken has honey and corn flakes in the batter and its slap your mom good. That fast food crap is gross. Too many mom n pop shops around here make it the authentic local way to buy that junk. We also have a gas station chain, royal farms... its not md style, but its good for most people thought of regular fried chicken.

KFC & Popeyes both suck. Canes ain’t bad. Bush’s is a little better.
We have a chain here called Golden Chick. Damn good stuff!
And good fried catfish too.

Worst damn case of food poisoning I ever had in my life I got at KFC’s. I’ll never eat that schitt again! Ever!
