Not a chance I'd go on that vacation.

the reasons you want to vacation in New Orleans are pretty much the same reasons they are overrun with the virus right now. The town is not clean on a good day

You can go on your vacation to N.O. but when you get there nothing will be open. Seems like a waste of time and money to me.

I wouldn't go. Not because of any fear of the Wuhan flu but because everything will be shut down, so it just won't be the same.

the decision to not go was already made, I was just pointing out that looking back, not going was the only decision to be made.

We have a live cam of bourbon street we've been watching for a few minutes each night , along with times square, key west and las vegas

they are all ghost towns

Are you out of your mind or just have a death wish? Did you see the death toll from just yesterday? Louisiana is leading the nation in rapid growth of Covid-19 per capita. No coincidence that lots of those folks mingled some at Mardi Gras. We are out of Red state FL. on Sunday a month early because it is inline to be one of the next bad ones. Full of old folks that mingle just like LA.

Good call not going, hindsight is 2020.

Remember why, specifically, the Bill of Rights was written...remember its purpose. It was written to limit the power of government over the individual.

I dunno that I'd have even had to ask the question to start with.

yea, seems out of line now

but it just goes to show you how much has changed in 15 days.

but I will admit to my own hypocrisy here - we have a cruise in late June. It appears its going to be canceled, but I'm hoping it won't.

I guess that blows the "humidity slows down the virus" theory out of the water, huh?
