We have reservations in Henderson soon, an overnighter. So far, no word that they're cancelling us, but I may have been a bit too prescient when I told Claudia the other day, "We'll be fine because we may be the only two people staying there that night."

That fishery got canceled. Never did it.



This fishery we put pens out, hang 700 kelp per permit in the pens. Then we seine up the herring and put them in the pens to spawn. The idea is the get kelp with a thick layer of roe on them. It’s a Japanese wedding deal. Only place in the world that will pay for it.

I got a permit to do it this spring, so it’s new to me.
