Opening day of thunder chicken on ft campbell Tree snapped off in my usual shooting spot in this certain area. Adjusted about 5 ft left. Decoy feild hunting. Probably wont see chyt Windy and cold.
Got in about 90 mins ago , took me about 10 mins with hand clippers to clear out . Spot will be waaay better when the leaves start growing. Killed alot of birds outta this field over the years. Pouring rain. Birds out bugging later in the season Fly down after a night of rain Stalking around the woodline putting on a move. Place gets alot better as the warmer weather hits.
Wife and I took Stella the Wonder Doodle out to play. Hit Home Depot for some door casing, grabbed 2 t-bones for dinner, came home. It was nice to get out and around town, but an eerie vibe with so many shops shut down.

You despair, repeatedly, constantly! daily basis? A despair ninny. Sack up, despire ninny.
Just about to head out and coyote hunt for a bit. Guys at work say a turkey call works good right now. Don't have that on my electronic caller but do have grandpa's ole turkey box.
We pray our sights be straight and our aim be true We pray for no pain to the game we pursue We thank you Lord for this land We thank you for the sights from our stands We pray for safety, one and all We pray we may return next fall
My son and I kicked our own asses chasing turkey around the north Georgia mountains. Didn’t hear a turkey after 745a but managed to hoof it until 2p when we got back to the cabin. Worn out
Went to the pharmacy to pick up the growler's Rx and grabbed 2 handles of gin while there.
We've got a few thousand miles of public land just North of us. Will walk some of it tomorrow and do some calling if not too windy. Social distancing is painless here.

Yotes will be all over the place on poults till they can fly up and roost. Got 5 rds of 3 inch 4 buck for them coksuka,s
Always have em come into my calling 3 or 4 times a year.
When the does start dropping fawns , them coksuka,s will smell her water break and shadow her till she gives birth , snatch the fawn up.
Seen a yote with one about 4 yrs ago with a dead fawn in its mouth about 75 yards out in a field still slick and wet and brown. Fughing thing came across the entire field about 300 yds out. It sensed something was up and hauled azz away .
Couldnt get a shot on that prick.
Called slumlord about it. He was the one who told me the deal on how yotes get fawns at birth.
I had one years ago come into me from my oblique. 6 maybe 7 ft away when I caught movement out of the corner of my eye. Couldnt swing on him fast enough. Coksucka.....
Yotes wont get a free pass with me if I can get a shot on em. Coksucka,s.......
I never used ta shoot the fughing things till about 5 or 6 yrs ago.
