I checked out Rural King tonight, and they had been stripped of ammo, but they still had some guns. There was a line of people waiting for the background checks. I mean, they didn't even have one turkey load left. Do people think they are going to be attacked by turkeys? They still had some bird shot, which will do the same thing across a room a lot cheaper.

Maybe. But I don't want them. Unless they're buying classic double barrel shotguns which I highly doubt.

That's what occurred to me, too. Dumb letting all his ammo go when he still had guns for sale that wouldn't be purchases without some ammo to go with it.

I just had another thought about this. Most small businesses that fail isn't due to bad product or bad prices, it's due to the lack of business sense of the owner. That owner is one of those. Not only does limiting sales sell more guns, but it keeps more customers happy. The stupid owner gets a lot of a customer's money once. The successful owner gets a little of the customer's money many times over the span of many years.

Shop sells slightly owned items too correct?
Let the shop owner get the scared liberals in "both holes" like a car dealer...
He can buy back at significant discount when their liberal friends shame them into selling..

In the meantime, with "Defense production" invoked American manufacturers should be able to produce plenty more.

Likewise with Lake City.... If this was an "Intentional release" from a China lab we cannot take the chance of not having a "Well regulated (& equipped) militia".....so keep building 100%s 80%s etc

Ol lady last week to RK, said one guy bought 1000 dollars worth of ammo.
Wonder if to keep or resell?

Haven't bought any ammo.
Got my turkey stuff from way back (hopefully get out and blast a tom next month).

Did buy a shorter shotgun bbl.
For HD, got a couple shotguns and loaning one out.

When the virus is gone, expect a lot of like new Glock/Ruger and Taurus stuff to be offered for sale.
Dunno how long it will take for folks to recover from the layoffs.

Many stores are only allowing 2 boxes per caliber per customer. Seems reasonable to me.

Bought the last two boxes of 223 today. They had a limit 5 per customer. They were busy but not packed. Line was moving very quickly.

Yep. Makes business sense. You don't want to run out of ammo for what you're selling.

My nephew was at sportsman's. People were picking up the ammo to see what was left, then buying their gun to fit the ammo they had.
Always wanted to see a newby with a .50 S%W or .416.
