It has a 7 inch blade of CPM S30V. This is the combat knife we have provided to military in all the branches of service except the Coastguard. It has a 5 inch blade of either CPM S30V or 3V steel. It has been very well received, but I don't know if it has done any fighting. I think it is mostly used as a utility knife... Harry
