I found a minty rem 700 mountain rifle, blued, wood, 7x57... I’m on the fence, it sure is sexy.... yay? Nay?

PS, I hunt lots in one of the wettest locales, tend to take care of my shiit really well, don’t dunk em in cricks, so blued/wood don’t scare me

I would be on like like white on rice as long as price is right.

Some of this stuff brings crazy prices IMO.

Get it, I just went through this. A NIB VLS in 260 Remington. Wasn't really looking for one, but at the price I could not pass it up.

Get it. You can always Cerakote it and drop it into a Ti or McMillan stock...ok I kid.

If the price is right and you want a mountain rifle, get it. You can always resell it here if you dont like it.

If you don’t dunk it in creeks next to salmon with bright colored electric tape around scope caps and ruin the stock by some sort of cheese Di*k wannabe bad as* name. Then it’s not worth it .

Id fn buy it, especially if it had a leupold sitting on top. That be the most winningest combo i could imagine.

Don't listen to these guys... they don't have clue what they are talking about...

Let me know where its at, and I'll go get it and ease your pain....

If you buy it, you'll regret it for decades.. take my word for it...

Worse rifle Remington ever made....

you can thank me later....:)

Not normally a Remington fan but, that rifle would be near the top of my list. If you like it and the price agrees with you I don't see any down side.

I’d bet pretty good money that while you’re on the internet claiming to have “ejection problems” with just about every rifle, breaking off bolt handles and blowing up every Leupold you touch, Jud will be using said combo to stack up dead stuff.

The only rifle I’ve ever regretted selling was a 270 Mountain rifle.

Bought it yet Jud?

Kinda a clusterfuuck, found it in Cabela’s gun library. The Cabela’s that has it is open, ours is not. Soooo, I had it shipped out here to ours, to hold until it opens back up. No thang, plenty of time to play with it this summer. Here she is.

I dig that sucker J man! I’m not even a huge Remington guy but that’s one I’d get on board with. Should be able to make it do good things. Those older ones shoot like crazy too.
