Florida should have place a travel embargo on NYers 50 years ago. They are the reason some of those places down there are so fuct up now.

What would the FL economy be like today without all those Northern refugees?

The economy would be different, that's to be sure, however Florida would still have an economy and residents that enjoyed their surroundings.....

Good. Can't blame people from hot spots seeking to escape to less hot spots, but all this is going to do is make a new hot spot. Just hunker down, and use correct practices to avoid contracting it where you are.

Not sure why any NYer would want to go to FL or anywhere else. We are closer to the peak here and most are getting the message and taking things seriously, and isolating. This virus is already in FL and will spread there. Considering the population density there, the avg age, and condition of most Floridians, expect this to hit you hard. One thing I'm hearing is that this has been hitting the obese hard. I've been to Florida, they're already screwed, just not smart enough to know it yet. People in rural areas are less likely to contract it, but if you do, rural hospitals are less likely to be able to handle it.

There was a talk of isolating people from the Northeast because it's a hot bed,and our govenor had a hissy-fit. Well after all Noo Yawk Governor Fredo Cuomo is an idiot just like his little brother Fredo junior the CNN leftist mouthpiece.

Elderly population combined with all the New York/New Jersey refugees streaming in, not going to be good. While us NYers were already hunkered down (self-isolated), we looked at images from FL of spring breakers going wild and beaches still open etc. in complete dismay. FL was screwed then and there. Once this virus got there with people acting as if it's no big deal or won't get them and not self-isolating weeks ago, it was all over. If FL completely closes it's borders to ALL people now, it will not change their fate. It's there and it's going to spread.
