I have a 35 gallon, poly tank, 12v Shurflo 40psi and a car battery.

Have it mounted in the truck bed. Run the sprayer handle up to the door and hold it out the window and drive around the farm doing road edges and fence lines and around the house, barns.

If you have much to spray, 1 gal at a time is a pain.

If you go that route, power it with a separate deep cycle battery.

Axe me how i know.

For a large area, I have a 20 gal tow behind that I pull with my garden tractor. It also has booms for broadcast spraying on lawns or pastures.

Another recommendation for the 4sons backpack sprayer. Have 3 of them, each field truck has one in it every day during the summer to use when scouting fields.

If you want to get fancy I suggest a Hagie STS sprayer but the price tag gets steep.

I change out the spray gun to a Teejet setup, but that is the only mod I do.

I'll get 6 acres out of a single battery charge.

Replacement pumps are $17 and batteries $12 if anything breaks fyi (nothing has).

If out of your budget, look at the Stihl branded sprayer with the brass pump.

Thanks for the tip on that My4sons model. That looks interesting.

Plenty of decent units out there... Flowzone, Solo, B&G, Chapin, Makita and Milwaukee have models also.
