Dang.....we use Cydectin. Wait!....we've got some horse wormer with Ivomec. Victory! Ivomec won't kill tape worms.
But I saw a paper written in Spanish that stated it was active against malaria.
I think most of these therapys need to be used earlier than how the USA 🇺🇸 has decided to triage and wait and see if it gets bad. The wait and see deal never worked well for my veterinary practice.

As opposed to " Do some good!" This^^^. Everything takes a study where playing with a disease is the object rather than helping the patient, who is to many, nothing more than a lab on a blanket. Yep, hard to understand the train of thought they use.....if we already know a safe dosage amount for humans, and it's not hard to obtain and doesn't have excessive side effects, why not go on the offensive and give it?

Some existing drugs might work, but with what side effects? This will take testing and time to find out. Likely none, unless they have upper respiratory deficiencies. I would also believe whatever side effects happen with the existing drugs will also do so if they are used to treat covid. Side effects ususally only happen for a few patients, so that just makes it all the more unlikely they will happen on any wide scale basis if they happen at all.

I had to inject my Pack Llamas monthly with that stuff.Available at almost any feed store.The amount is given by weight.
