I’ve been on a bacon diet since January. Where do you think I got the 23 gallons of bacon grease. I just know enough to ask for help when I’m out of my depth. For the record, this is me admitting to have never baked with bacon grease.
You need to check out that other thread..... pour in in your trucks crankcase......better than synthetic 10/40

Has anyone seen 79s’s wife?
Things were going great last night. We chatted, exchanged selfies and chatted some more, then poof. Gone...
I think the little slut was PM with more than just me last night.
Dude. It's Easter.

Course, that was back in the "exponential" days.
Hahahaha. That word got a lot of mileage for a few days didn't it? Folks went exponential on social distancing and personal hygiene and protection. One exponential went down because the other exponential went up. Complex Inverse math for the unwashed but understood and practiced by the sanitized and cautious. That's what they're trying to sell right now. I'm not buying. Take New York city for example. It was around 10 or 12 days after their first case before they suggested no groups over 50 people. It was 21 days or so before they said to go with social distancing. This in a city of 8.6 million people with 27,000 per square mile population density. Do you really think that this horribly contagious virus wasn't totally spread throughout the city before they started shutting it down. Now, add to that the fact that it really isn't shut down due to all of the exceptions. New York city is the worst that the virus could do in this country. Of course the deaths are a shame, as will be all of the deaths that result from shutting down the economy. Of course, no one will want to talk about that. The big push is on to try to convince the sheeple that without the social distancing millions would have died. Never believed it, don't believe it now. Believe what you will and do as you please. It’s America, afterall. Do you really believe that the social distancing in New York city took place quickly enough to stop the spread? It didn’t happen soon enough in several places, let’s throw in New Orleans. Shreveport. But doing it since recognizing it may have helped arrest some of the progression. Acy this whole cluster has been a learn as you go type thing. When in doubt, distance yourself unless you don’t believe that doing it is a valid preventative. You’re free to do what you want and that you feel is right. It didn't happen soon enough!!!! Should work two masks 🤣

It’s not at all a bullshît answer. It reflects the landscape and dynamics of leading through a mess like this.
It’s my understanding that the current thinking is that the virus is carried on silvia, phlegm, tissue, etc. expelled from the body of an infected person. Typically through coughing. Some have suggested it can be carried in the moisture of ones breath. I don’t believe there’s enough science to support a complete understanding of transmission.
Oh my... LOL

The only reason they shouldn't be working is either their own choice, or a god awful economy.
Not this draconian bullschit.
Do you REALLY think there should have been *zero* response? I'd like to think you are overstating your opinion in your usual shock-jock manner to try to swing the pendulum of the discussion back the other way. And remember, in the pretend world of, "just let it run it's course naturally" emergency funding for those who ARE impacted doesn't exist. People likely would have caught on to the seriousness of the virus, travel would have slowed, restaurant business would have stalled, and there would be NO response possible and support for critical industries. That said as a staunch fiscal conservative, the trillion$ in spending is more than worrisome. Anyhow, from the start, I advocated for reasonable, common sense response to this pandemic. Suspend pro sports? Probably a good idea. Have folks that can, WFH? Sure, why not? Many do, anyway. Leave the more critical industries open for business? Check. That's been done. Send the rug rats home from school so it doesn't spread like wildfire there, and then they bring it home to elderly relatives? Seems reasonable to me. But why can't I hunt or fish? Why can't I golf with family members? Why can't I drive to my Michigan vacation home? People can go to work, make/handle/ and then deliver my food, but I can't walk into my local mom and pop shop, with proper social distancing, and order a coffee? I am a reasonable individual who is a compassionate enough human to understand *some* response is warranted, and intelligent enough to think for myself and understand what is unreasonable, and fight against that, or ignore it, or whatever.
Clearly, NO response would have been foolish. Clearly, there are many aspects of the CURRENT response that are off the rails. Of course, in the eyes of fubar, irfubar, deflavor, and the like, **ANY** statement that gives **ANY** credence to **ANY** gov't response that's been made is like a big target on one's back. They're labeled liberal, chicken little, or whatever. Yet the same people who go on the offensive, pat each other on the back in other threads, and "appear" to have reasonable approaches. Again, you can't have it both ways. This thread is a treasure trove. LOL
