Lot of liberal governors. Same cause. Southern democrat mentality sans the civil rights issues. The reason southern states stay red (mostly) is because of the Kennedy's and LBJ. Western states never had to deal with those issues so they're slower than the south. If that's possible.

Except here it is the I-70 corridor, St. Louis, KC, and Jeff City/Columbia voting solid blue that the rest of us have to fend off.
