If any of you shoot or know how Superformance would work in a .348 Ackley Improved with 250 grain bullets. please share your thoughts. Eventually I will get the gun back from the shop and get some trigger time in with the chronograph. I am looking at H4350 and IMR 4350 for now with the Ackley Improved version. But, this will be new territory so I am all ears. If there is a known better choice for a powder I can try it.
I been loading ammo since the late 50's with my Pa and on my own since the early 70's. But, the longer I do it the more I realize there is more to loading ammo then what I do with the rounds I toss together for our 30-06 and .338 Winny and 45-70 rifles. It's a big world when one considers burn rates and case size and bullet weights, makes me feel like a rookie.
Also, my old favorite bullet maker at Alaska Bullet Works has passed and I am looking for these Alaska Bullet Works bullets. 250 grain in .348 bullet and 250 grain in .356 Win. and 350 and 405 grain, all Kodiak Bonded Bullets.

I use RL17 in my standard 348. Iād think H4831 might be real good in the Improved chamber. You add some good case capacity and H4831 should be good for case fill.
