BTW, to no one in particular, APEX predator loads look to be about $10 per shell. Yikes! That takes a bite out of the fur check.

Battue, do you turkey or predator hunt with shotguns? Turkey yes, predator no. However I understand where you are coming from.....My point was personally, the cost of TSS shells for upland hunting is a minor addition to my overall shooting costs....obviously not the case with someone trying to maximize their fur profit....

I looked online at MidwayUSA and see a 25 count box averages $1.30 / each +/- (per shot shell) or ~ $33-35/box.
Since I posted this, I've been checking around for TSS loads, akso reading a lot more about tungsten itself. I obviously was mistaken when I referenced TSS upland loads at $35/box of 25......not exactly. No suppliers are stocking upland loads out of season, just turkey & predator loads.
